WEALTH-CARE PLANNING
The Wealth-Care™ program and the Financial Diagnosis Self-Assessment and Workbook are designed to help advisors increase awareness of the many aspects of a client’s financial well-being.

The tool consists of 40 statements that focus on how a client feels about financial issues. Clients are asked to rank statements on a scale from 1 to 5 in five categories:

Financial Sensory System
2. 
Financial Respiratory System
3. 
Financial Immune System
4. 
Financial Cardio System
5. 
Financial Lifestyle

Examples of statements include “Financial matters are of no interest to me” (Financial Sensory System); “My financial records are well organized” (Financial Respiratory System); “I’m easily confused or intimidated by financial language or jargon” (Financial Immune System); “I often feel squeezed by competing financial needs” (Financial Cardio System); and “I’ve spent a lot of money trying to find happiness” (Financial Lifestyle).

After ranking statements and adding the totals at the end of the questionnaire, advisors will be in a position to provide clients with a fiscal checkup and help clients focus on areas that are in poor health.
